Geography of Puerto Rico
Puerto Rico is an archipelago located in the Carribean sea. It has Montainous interior with costal planes. It has many major rainforest like El Yunque national forest, even though El Yunque is one of the smallest rainforest, it has the biggest biodiversity compared to all USA rainforest. El Yunque has over 1000 plant species and around 200-300 animal species, some even being the endangered Puerto Rican Parrot. Puerto Rican species vary from amphibians like the coqui(13 total species) or the 127 different bird species like the Puerto Rican Parrot the Elfin Woods Warbler, or the Puerto Rican Tody.

At first San Juan was called La Ciudad De Puerto Rico(City Of Puerto Rico) and the island was called San Juan, but with time the names switched. San Juan was founded in 1521, and is famous for its historical spot, el Viejo San Juan.
